Murilo Rezende
Murilo Rezende da Silva[1] was a Brazilian male model. He was the winner of the 2011 Mister Piauí contest and a finalist of the 2011 Mister Brazil contest.[2] He was the face of Rufskin's spring/summer clothing campaign photographed by Rick Day in Brazil.[3]
On August 23, 2011, Rezende was found stabbed to death in a bedroom of an apartment in Oscar Freire, Sao Paulo.[4] The apartment belonged to a systems analyst, a 52-year-old gay man, who was also found stabbed to death at the scene.[5] Their bodies had sustained serious injuries before dying. There was evidence of a struggle in the apartment and there are many bloodstains throughout the property.[6]
Favored by Rick Day, Rezende, photographed by Day, had been featured prominently in the Australian DNA magazine since May 2011.[7] He was 21 years old.[8]
